Live from the The Nightingale in Chicago, ACRE TV and Live to Tape: Artist Television Festival presented an evening of performances, films, videos and desperate pleas for cash. The evening was a televisual and multimodal fundraiser irl or url or both for a cavalcade of performances and videos teasing out meaning and monies. Digging into the form and fun, this function featured raffles, give-aways, ample opportunities to give to the endlessly vital microcinema right at the beating beautiful heart of Chicago screen culture. Friends brought their big bucks and best buds as MCs Hammer, Escher and Donald guided them through contemporary and historical tele-works, opened the space for this place and goofed for good.

This event was part of NIGHTINGALE 10!, the tenth anniversary of the legendary Chicago microcinema.
